Jed Douglas

I’m Jed Douglas, an attorney at Childers, Schlueter & Smith, LLC in Georgia. I help people facing serious personal injuries—often from dangerous drugs or defective products—navigate mass tort and product liability cases with care and determination.

About Me

I’m an attorney with Childers, Schlueter & Smith, LLC, representing people in Georgia and beyond who have suffered serious injuries through no fault of their own. My practice focuses on mass torts, pharmaceutical liability, and product liability, including cases involving Camp Lejeune water contamination, Zantac cancer litigation, NEC infant formula litigation, Roundup cancer claims, CPAP devices, and hernia mesh. I am admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

I believe in being a caring, responsive advocate who blends legal skill with personal attention. My role involves guiding clients through complex litigation while keeping them informed and empowered. Whether we’re navigating a national mass tort or an individual injury case, my goal is to protect my clients’ rights and pursue the justice they deserve.

I work with individuals and families impacted by corporate negligence, unsafe products, and harmful pharmaceuticals. Most of my clients come to me at one of the most difficult times in their lives, and I make it my priority to ensure they have a strong, steady ally in their corner.

I grew up in southern Georgia, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2003, and earned my J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2008. Before entering private practice, I clerked for a Federal Magistrate Judge in Atlanta. Over the years, I’ve been active in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, served as president of my local Chamber of Commerce, and held leadership roles in community organizations. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my wife, Martha, our sons, Jude and Frank, and our two dogs.
